# List templates

`GET https://api.signwithsigil.com/v1/templates`

Every template you have saved, most recently updated first.

Templates come without their `fields` here; [get a template](/api-reference/templates/get-template) for those. A document uploaded once with a pact is not a template and is not listed.

## Authorization

Header `Authorization: Bearer sgk_…` (or `X-Api-Key: sgk_…`).

## Response

`200 OK`: A list. There is no paging: every template comes back.

- `data` (array of objects): The templates, without `fields`.
  - `uid` (string): The template's id: 8 letters and digits.
  - `name` (string): Your name for it (150 characters at most). Defaults to the file name.
  - `source_name` (string): The uploaded file's name.
  - `source_type` (string): What was uploaded. Word documents are converted to PDF on upload. One of: `pdf`, `docx`.
  - `page_count` (integer): Pages in the document.
  - `signer_count` (integer): Signers the glyphs call for: the highest glyph number.
  - `field_count` (integer): Fields found in the document.
  - `date_created` (string (date-time)): When it was uploaded.
  - `date_updated` (string (date-time)): When it last changed.
- `total` (integer): How many there are.

## Errors

| Status | When |
|---|---|
| 401 | The API key is missing, wrong or revoked. |
| 403 | The account's plan does not include API access (Pro and Business do). |

Every error body is `{ "error": "message" }`.
