# list_templates

The saved templates, most recently updated first.

MCP tool at `https://api.signwithsigil.com/mcp`. Read-only. Idempotent.

## Description (what the model sees)

> The account's saved templates (documents with glyphs): uid, name, page and signer counts. Use get_template for the fields.

## Arguments

None.

## Returns

A JSON array of templates without their fields. Unlike the REST call, there is no `data`/`total` wrapper. Returned as one `text` content item holding JSON.

- `uid` (string): The template's id: 8 letters and digits.
- `name` (string): Your name for it (150 characters at most). Defaults to the file name.
- `source_name` (string): The uploaded file's name.
- `source_type` (string): What was uploaded. Word documents are converted to PDF on upload. One of: `pdf`, `docx`.
- `page_count` (integer): Pages in the document.
- `signer_count` (integer): Signers the glyphs call for: the highest glyph number.
- `field_count` (integer): Fields found in the document.
- `date_created` (string (date-time)): When it was uploaded.
- `date_updated` (string (date-time)): When it last changed.
